Raising the Roof

I’m in Muskoka helping a friend with a garage project he’s undertaken. We had a load of trusses that needed to make their way to the top of the support beams. I suggested we use the available ladders to make a ramp. This solution worked quite well.

This is what the building looked like at the beginning of the day:

And here’s what it looked like at the end:

I like to solve problems, and this was a simple one. I like being outside, but I wouldn’t want to be a construction worker. I took timelapse photos of us putting up the last six or seven trusses, I’ll post the video when it’s ready.
