Drive & Trek: Somewhere between St. John’s & Renews, Newfoundland
Posted on July 22, 2010, at 2:19 pm

We set out on another trek. This time, we hopped in the car and started driving toward Renews, Newfoundland. On the way, we came across this spit of land with a lighthouse at its tip. We decided to hop out and do some exploring. It was an interesting experience to move between very warm, moist air and very cold air with only a few steps – something that happened repeatedly while we were exploring. Of course, these conditions are what made for all the fog. In some of the shots, you can see the fog forming as the cold air from over the water meets with the warmer moist air overland.

I like the lighthouse, the benches and the fog shots, the last fog shot showing it rolling across the spit is very good.
