I’ve got a new site design. I want to avoid any big changes for at least half a year if I can get away with that. Essentially, it’s been re-built from the ground up, implementing WordPress as my content management system. It ever taken a while to do (a few weeks, anyway). I taught myself the basics and then the advanced features of WP – and if you’re looking to create any kind of web presence I suggest you do the same. I can’t believe I didn’t know about WP sooner. Content that was on the site before this site’s introduction to WordPress have been added through the posting functionality and backdated. The WordPress learning curve is a bit steep, but once you’ve got the hang of it, you’ll see just how powerful and flexible it really is. You don’t have to do what I did – that is, build a theme as you first encounter to WP – to get a lot of benefit.
Many thanks go out to everyone involved at the WordPress community.
